As Durak Hazelnut, within the scope of our efforts to combat the brown marmorated stink bug, a significant risk in hazelnut production areas, we have installed pheromone traps in the orchards and around the homes of our producers.
This application, carried out to monitor the population density of the pest and contribute to taking necessary precautions in the early stages, supports field observation and monitoring activities. Thanks to pheromone traps, the movement of the brown marmorated stink bug is tracked, aiming for more effective control efforts.
As Durak Hazelnut, we continue to stand by our producers within the framework of sustainable agricultural practices and to continue our efforts to protect product quality and productivity.
