Our visit to the Eyyübiye District Governorship in Şanlıurfa as part of the Every Child is a World Program.

As Durak Hazelnut, within the scope of the Every Child a World Program, we conducted a field visit to Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa, where a large number of families migrate seasonally to Ordu for hazelnut harvesting.
Together with our field team, led by our Sustainability Manager Vedat Macit, we visited the Eyyübiye District Governor, Mr. Yusuf Turan, in his office to discuss the prevention of child labor, strengthening children's access to education, and assessing current needs in the field. During the meeting, we addressed the challenges children face in their education and shared information about the current situation in the field. We also discussed potential local initiatives and collaboration opportunities. We thank the Eyyübiye District Governor, Mr. Yusuf Turan, for his support in the efforts to ensure a safe, healthy, and educational future for children.
