Every Child a World Program
At Durak Hazelnut, we believe that a sustainable supply chain is only possible when children are protected and their healthy development is ensured. Our “Every Child a World” Program offers protective measures, educational support, and social activities for children of seasonal agricultural worker families; it actively monitors the entire process from the field to the factory gate to prevent child labor.
Activities carried out within the scope of the program:
- Child labor risk assessments
- Information meetings for producer families
- Education, social support, and guidance activities
- Directing children to safe areas
- On-site monitoring system to prevent child labor
This program is one of the fundamental building blocks of Durak Hazelnut's vision to create a human rights-sensitive, inclusive, and responsible supply chain.
Our Every Child a World report is published within the sustainability report as of 2024.
