Durak Hazelnut Participated in ILO Türkiye Training

As Durak Hazelnut, we participated in the “Situation Assessment and Responsible Business Conduct Training on Child Labor in the Hazelnut Supply Chain in Turkey” program organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The training, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and with financial support from the Association of European Chocolate, Biscuit and Confectionery Industries (CAOBISCO), took place in Giresun on March 3-4, 2026.
The training program addressed the efforts to prevent child labor in seasonal hazelnut farming in Turkey, the risks encountered in the supply chain, and the responsible business conduct approach.
The program, attended by sector representatives, aimed to increase awareness on the issue through information sharing with institutional and company representatives.
As Durak Hazelnut, by participating in this training program, we continue to contribute to the efforts to prevent child labor in the hazelnut supply chain.
