Spraying Application in Example Agricultural Practice Gardens

In our Exemplary Agricultural Practice Gardens, where we continue to operate as Durak Hazelnut, the application of pesticides for 2021 took place.

The organic medicine used in this application has a great effect against powdery mildew and cone mite, which are important diseases in the integrated control of hazelnut.

If powdery mildew is the first time in the garden, spraying is started as soon as the symptoms are seen. If the disease has been observed in previous years, spraying is started during the fruit (cotanak) binding period. Taking into account the severity of the disease, climatic conditions and the effect of the drug, the second and other sprayings are continued until harvest.
For the cone mite; If there are an average of 5 cones on a branch, spraying is done when three shoots have 4-4.5 leaves, new buds are half the size of a pinhead, and newly developed fruits are the size of lentils (approximately 3 mm in diameter).
